Enrollment Information
Enrollment is open to all children ages 2 years to 5 years old and is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority however is given to Fullerton College faculty, staff, and students. Once a child is enrolled they are continually enrolled until they are kindergarten eligible or if the child’s family decides to move to another program. The waitlist form can be found below or by visiting the CDES Department Laboratory School. We are located near the parking lot number 5.

Tuition Assistance
CDES Department Lab School offers need-based tuition assistance through the California State Preschool Program. These are in limited quantities. Please note your interest in tuition assistance when completing your waitlist application.
Income Based and Subsidized Child Care Available for children ages 2yrs – 5yrs old
Priority provided to:
- Fullerton College & NOCCCD Students , who received Pell Grant or Financial Aid
- Veterans enrolled at any NOCCCD campus
- All Staff & Faculty NOCCCD

How are parents involved in the school?
Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and caregivers are an important part of our school. We encourage everyone to share their unique skills, talents, and interest. Families are a valuable part of our learning community.
Why do you require a tour of the school?
We want families to learn about our unique learning environment and program.
Application Process
All prospective applicants must fill out a waitlist application.
Prospective applicants are invited to tour our school. Tours take approximately 30-40 minutes. We encourage families not to bring their children on initial tours of the Lab School. Once we have a spot for you, we welcome you to come back with your child to a visit and for a family orientation.
Tours of our school for potential families are given on Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. Please call the Child Development and Educational Studies Department Lab School to make an appointment. Parent Tours are currently at 10 a.m. or 3 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday.
